This is simply a cover, look up the song on youtube to find the original version!
As for the EQing, it sucks, I agree, didn't spend much time on the last minute adjustments, and adding the drums was part of that last minute adjustment.

It really needs balancing

The music would be nice if you had not exaggerated in the loud beats ...
For me it was hard to hold out until 02:29.
Changing the beats would be much better to listen to the melody.
